"Balkan Express" is the name of the railway historically connecting Central Europe with the Balkans. It is a journey where the West meets the East through cultures rich in fascinating influences, nuances, melancholy, and vitality.

The Balkan Express project is born from a passion for these cultural crossovers and the music that tells their story through fusion. The band brings together 5 musicians from diverse musical backgrounds, spanning from classical to free jazz, who reinterpret traditional repertoire from various Balkan nations including Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, and Greece with great respect and creativity.
