Lôro Malandro is born from the fusion of two famous compositions by the great Brazilian musician Egberto Gismonti: Lôro and Baião Malandro. The result of this merger is a mischievous but not malicious parrot (Lôro in Portuguese), whose antics aim to surprise the listener, combining the energy and colors of South America with the elegance and improvisation typical of blues, contributing to the creation of highly emotive cinematic atmospheres.
The plumage – le plumas – of Lôro Malandro is extremely varied, influenced by the characteristics of all the cultures encountered in its ideal flight between Europe and the Americas, as well as by all the sonic traits learned from its interpreters. And precisely the desire to place love for nature and animals at the center of the spiritual thought of the "Lôro Malandro" project makes this journey, on the wings of our parrot friend, even more fascinating and emotional.
