We’ve Got The World On A String, which translates to having the world on a string, represents the infinite expressive possibilities that emanate from a musical instrument or, in this case, from a Trio.

According to Pythagoras, the string represents the whole from which the division gives rise to all harmonic sounds that constitute the vocabulary of music.

The creation of this second record by IL GIOCO was strongly desired by all three members and represented the perfect opportunity to seek an evolution in the trio's sound. It aimed to broaden the expressive horizons of our music and our way of interacting with it through careful compositional and performance research.
